MIKE RUSSELL
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mike brings 25 years real estate experience in Australia and the UK leading the delivery of world-leading commercial and mixed-use developments, most recently as Project Director at Wynyard Place in Sydney CBD for Brookfield and prior to that 1 Bligh Street – one of Sydney’s most innovative Premium Grade, 6 Star Green Star office towers. His previous experience includes working at Westpac in a senior Corporate Real Estate role, and various lead project management roles overseeing major commercial developments at APP.

Joanna recently joined Russell & Associates as Executive Director. Joanna is responsible for providing strategic advice on the concept master planning, feasibility, retail strategy and delivery of green and brownfield retail town centre and retail stratum/mixed use developments. Joanna brings 26 years’ experience in the commercial property sector in Australia and the UK with extensive expertise in leading and managing development planning and delivery and leasing for major property groups and clients including Frasers Property Australia, Coles and CBRE.

JOANNA RUSSELL
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Bob has over 40 years of experience in commercial architecture. He was a Project Director at multiple firms before starting his own practice. Now specialising in Architectural Advisory and Peer Review, Bob brings his extensive expertise to projects and teams. His skills span project initiation, design, documentation, team management, and contract negotiation. He is highly experienced in representing large tenants, providing due diligence advice, and conducting architectural Peer Reviews to ensure compliance and improve quality.

Sam Shepherd is the Founder of BellRinger Property Group. Focusing on the activation and place creation of retail and ground plane projects, BellRinger bridges the gaps between project consultants by working at the nexus of Creative & Strategic Thinking, Commercial Feasibility and Design. Sam has worked across a broad range of property sectors including retail, mixed use, health, education, precincts and transit developments. Sam has over 20 years experience and has worked on leading commercial projects such as Brookfield Place Sydney, Atlassian Central Sydney, Central Place Sydney and 125 Miller Street North Sydney.

SAM SHEPHERD
PLACE CREATION ADVISOR

Chris brings over 30 years industry experience, specialising in project planning, extensions-of-time analysis, and strategic project advice. Offering programming and planning expertise from feasibility through to operational readiness, Chris provides programming and buildability advice for large projects and further, acts as an expert witness in time related disputes. With experience as both a Construction Project Manager and a Superintendent, Chris brings practical construction insights from consulting and working for leading Australian builders.
